New Outdoor Beer Hall to open on Stillwell

George Mitelman was hard at work this week putting the finishing touches on his newest Draft Barn location. Draft Barn has numerous locations including one on Ave. X. Draft Barn Beach Beer Garden is an outdoor beer hall located on the east side of Stillwell Avenue and the Bowery next to the Go Carts. George told us that he’s hoping to have everything in place in time for the summer crowds.

Coney Island has a long history of beer gardens and halls. Including the former Kaiser Beer Garden, Feltman’s Maple Garden and Stauch’s Beer Hall billed as the world’s largest which was located opposite the Draft Barn site.

Today we have the local favorite Steeplechase Beergarden with it’s neighbor Coney Island Brewery and their outdoor seating catering to beer drinkers over by MCU Park. Draft barn with it’s old world Eastern European decor will be catering to crowds in the heart of the amusement district.

Draft Barn will have a numerous variey of foreign draft beer as well as canned beer and sausages.
