Nathan’s street naming to take place Sept. 24
As first reported by the Coney Island Blog, the south west corner of Stillwell and Surf ave. will be co-named after the original owners of Nathan’s Famous. The sign will read Nathan and Ida Handwerker Way, after the husband and wife team that made Nathan’s Famous really famous.
On Saturday, September 24, 2016, Street Co-naming Ceremony for Nathan and Ida Handwerker Way, located Surf and Stillwell Avenues, 11am.
