Free Post Mermaid Parade Dance Party at Coney Art Walls

A free all-day dance party will be held during the Mermaid Parade on Saturday, June 18th from 2pm to 11pm at Coney Art Walls, 3050 Stillwell Avenue in Coney Island. Presented by Greenwood Beach at Coney Art Walls, the event will feature DJs Ankia Peou and Boogie Blind.

Coney Art Walls is an outdoor museum of street art curated by Joseph Sitt and Jeffrey Deitch. The public art wall project, which is open from 12pm to 10pm daily through October, encompasses Greenwood Beach and features popular food vendors including Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Calexico, and Table 87.

The 34th Annual Mermaid Parade begins this Saturday at 1pm. Created by Coney Island USA, it is the nation’s largest art parade and one of New York City’s greatest summer events.

Coney Art Walls is located one block from the Mermaid Parade route on Surf Avenue, and one block from the boardwalk and beach in Coney Island.
