“Coney Island is continuing to create new excitement and attract visitors from around the world, and we are excited to be part of the neighborhood’s ongoing resurgence,” said Joseph Sitt.
Bordered by Bowery Street, West 15th Street and Stillwell Avenue near the Coney Island boardwalk and beach, Coney Art Walls attracts tens of thousands of visitors throughout the summer and beyond.
“There are 21 new murals this year. We have expanded the program to include several of the leading painters and sculptures in New York, in addition to leading artists connected with street culture. Coney Art Walls will be one of the best places in New York to see ambitious new painting,” said Jeffrey Deitch.
