Opening Day Postponed to March 26

Due to the impending snowstorm Coney Island’s Opening Day Ceremonies will be moved from Sunday, March 20 to Saturday, March 26.

Join us Saturday March 26 for the 31st Annual “Blessing of the Rides” at Deno’s Wonder Wheel Park. FREE RIDES for 300 kids from the local Salt N Sea Mission. Plus FREE RIDES on Deno’s Wonder Wheel to the first 96 people in celebration of the Wheel’s 96th Year! The park will also be open on Good Friday, March 25, and Easter Sunday, March 27, and subsequent weekends and school holidays until our daily schedule begins Memorial Day Weekend.

Also, there will be an Opening Day Ceremony at the Cyclone Rollercoaster at 11:30am. They will also have a traditional Egg Cream Christening + delicious, first come-first served Egg Cream samples, courtesy of Brooklyn Seltzer Boys.
