Russo Family Celebrate 50 Years at Gargiulos

CONEY ISLAND, November 24th, 2015 – The Russo Family celebrates 50 years as owners of Coney Island mainstay Gargiulo’s Restaurant. To mark the occasion the brothers decided to completely renovate the restaurant. The new décor embraces the facility’s traditional charm while exhibiting a modern flair with neutral tones and elegant finishes.

“The Russo Family is happy to celebrate 50 years in business embracing all that is going on in Coney Island, we are more excited today than we were in 1965,” said Nino Russo, Gargiulo’s Restaurant co-owner.

Gargiulo’s Restaurant was established in 1907 by the Gargiulo Family. In 1965, the Russo brothers acquired the restaurant and kept the name, implementing their Neapolitan hospitality and cuisine, and making it the landmark that exists today.
