TV Show Taping at Coney Island USA

Warner Brothers trucks were lined up and down Surf Ave. yesterday preparing for the taping of the NBC TV show The Mysteries of Laura starring Debra Messing. A member of the television crew told us that they were taping interior shots inside the former Childs Building home to Coney Island USA. Once again Coney Island is becoming a popular destination for TV, film, and commercial shoots.

A few months ago the Coney Island Blog posted about the new Martin Scorsese/ Mick Jagger HBO TV show Vinyl being filmed outside Luna Park.

We caught a glimpse of TV star Debra Messing glancing over at us in front of the Coney Island USA Gift Shop entrance.

The Mysteries of Laura is currently airing on NBC on Wednesday nights at 8PM.
