Kentucky Company to Restore Cyclone Roller Coaster
Have you looked up and noticed lately that our Cyclone Roller Coaster has been stripped of it’s iconic white paint? No need to worry, the famed roller coaster is only getting a make over.
Baynum Painting of Newport, Kentucky, a prominent amusement ride painting company will be giving the Cyclone a glossy white finished coating.
“Company owner Chris Baynum’s first roller coaster project was The Beast at Kings Island in 1986. Since then, Baynum has completed more than 200 major roller coaster projects for major amusement park operators.”
Paint company PPG has agreed to donate the paint for the restoration project.
Soon the Cyclone will look like it did on opening day of 1927.
