According to a press release by the Alliance for Coney Island:
Coney Island Announces Two Additional Friday Night Firework Shows!

CONEY ISLAND, August 26, 2015 – With the help and support of Councilman Mark Treyger, the Alliance for Coney Island will be adding two additional Friday Night Firework shows to cap off the end of the summer. These shows are free to the public and will take place on the Boardwalk near West 12th Street at 9:30pm this Friday, August 28th and next Friday, September 4th to kickoff the Labor Day Weekend.
