Coney Art Walls Summer Sundays Dance Party To Start June 21
Spend this Sunday nursing that Mermaid Parade Day hangover at a new dance party at Coney Art Walls. Launching Sunday, June 21 Rong Music and Thor Equities (yes, that right Thor Equities!) have announced Coney Art Walls Sundays, a curated weekly summer music series and dance party happening every Sunday from June 21-September 6th from 5pm-11pm in the heart of Coney Island. It will be held at Coney Art Walls, an exhibit of street art curated by Jeffrey Deitch and Joseph Sitt.

“Sundays are curated and organized by longtime PS1/MoMA “Warm Up” curator Jason Drummond of Rong Music, in association with music industry veterans Benny Soto and Michael Weiss of Nervous Records. They have brought together a groundbreaking lineup of pioneers of disco, house, and techno music, innovative and up-and-coming DJ’s, bands, and electronic experimentalist, from the U.S. and abroad.
Sundays kick off on June 21st with legendary DJ from NJ’s famed Club Zanzibar and Kiss FM, Tony Humphries along with DJ Spun, Faso & Free Magic and a surprise special guest. The summer will also see performances from Francois Kevorkian, Kim Ann Foxman, Maurice Fulton, The Loose Control Band, Dubtribe, Danny Krivit, MK, Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Dope, Todd Terry, Tim Sweeney, and many more incredible DJ’s and live acts.
Smorgasburg will showcase Brooklyn’s top food vendors and two bars serving craft beer, wine, and other libations. Bringing world class food to a world class exhibition of music and art at America’s Playground.
Bordered by Bowery Street, West 15th Street and Stillwell Avenue near the Coney Island beach and boardwalk, Coney Art Walls is expected to draw tens of thousands of visitors throughout the summer and beyond.”
