Coney Island Tours Finally Raises Prices
From Free Coney Island Tours a few years back to the $25 tour. Yesterday Coney Island Tours raised their nearly two hour walking tour to $25 per guest. Coney Island Tours has developed a partnership with PeekPro. PeekPro is a tour and activity software business that only works with a limited amount of tour operators.
Coney Island Tours founder Michael Quinn thinks it’s about time that his business takes it to the next level. “Last year I booked so many tours that it was difficult to keep track of all the scheduling. Now with PeekPro everything is taken care of.”
According to Quinn ” My free tours of Coney Island were organized to help many of my friends who are small business owners in the area. They were very popular right from the start after Super Storm Sandy. It was my way of telling people that Coney Island was still open for business. The cost of my tours are now right on par with the booming amusement district.”
The Brooklyn born and raised Quinn has always been fascinated with the history of his native borough.
“Back in the late 70’s my Sundays were spent with either my father at Nathan’s Famous or Lundy’s with my grandparents. I remember as a tot being so fascinated by Sheepshead Bay’s famous Lundy’s Restaurant. Going to Lundy’s on a Sunday as a little Brooklyn boy was very special. It was like being transported into another realm. The absolute joy of yapping about Brooklyn history is infectiously conveyed in every single tour that I give. I feel as though I have been doing this since birth.”
Coney Island Tours has been recently ranked by NYC &Co. the 8th Best Tour in all of NYC.
