Beyonce and Coney Island Represented at the Grammys (Video)

At last nights’s 57th Annual Grammy Awards pop star Beyonce won for best R&B song “Drunk in Love.” Her 5th studio album which contains our favorite song “XO”  lost out to our dear friend Bibbe Hansen’s son Beck.

The Coney Island Blog would like to congratulate musician Brian Newman, Ruby’s regular and husband of Ms. Cyclone, Angie Pontani for winning along with Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett best traditional pop vocal album for Cheek to Cheek. We also want to give a shout out to our friends his bandmates and fellow Grammy winners (Mr.Egg Cream) Paul Francis and Steve Kortkya. We’ll sure to be celebrating with the Grammy winners at Ruby’s Bar this summer.
