Surf 12 Nightclub Opens With Beastie Boy’s DJ Hurricane

The Surf 12 Nightclub is open and has replaced recently closed Russian owned karaoke bar Club Shalyapin. Located at 1201 Surf Avenue, the new club is still keeping karaoke nights alive in Coney Island. The club’s first event will take place this Saturday , December 27that 9Pm with the Beastie Boy’s DJ Hurricane and his book release party. Free admission.

DJ Hurricane is bringing his book release tour back to the Big Apple where it all started. Head down to the brand new Surf 12 nightclub in Brooklyn next Saturday night for a meet and greet followed by an epic DJ set by the Legendary Turntablist/Emcee Producer and Author of “My Dreams Came True (And Yours Can Too)”.

Surf 12 will also be hosting a New Year’s Eve party with a $50 cover.
