Look What’s Exciting and New at Luna Park!
The official 2015 Luna Park maps are up and posted around the park. They provide a glimpse of what will be added to the park this summer.
TheConeyIslandBlog.com was the first to report the return of the Enterprise to Coney Island. This new Zamperla manufactured version of the rapidly spinning Enterprise will be called the Endeavor. It will replace the crowd pleasing Boardwalk Flight located right next to Place to Beach. Hey, we still have the Sling Shot!
Directly behind Boardwalk Nathan’s the Power Surge will be landing. The Power Surge will be spinning it’s guests frantically at around the same spot where the legendary Gyro Globe Ride accomplished the same thing something like a million years ago.
We are really going to miss the Balloon Expedition ride which is being replaced by the Wind Star. According to our sources at Luna Park this large ride will let the rider control it’s movements as though they are flying a kite. All three new rides will be located close to the Boardwalk.
Coney Island Tours once again will be teaming up with Luna Park this season. The tour guides of Coney Island Tours are strictly certified educators and Brooklyn born licensed tour guides. They will be expanding their educational program for schools and camps. Tour packages can be booked through Luna Park. There are many different options available.

I really like the White Castle coming to Steeplechase Plaza. Right on the boardwalk! Astroland had the Power Surge during it’s last few years.
